What Peter & Clark has to offer

Consultative approach

We take a consultative approach to solving our clients’ needs by working with them to define goals and how to reach them in a cost-effective way.

  • STEP ONE: UNDERSTANDING NEEDS
  • STEP TWO: ESTIMATE & PRICING
  • STEP THREE: UNDERSTANDING YOUR PREFERENCES FOR LONG-TERM COLLABORATION

We operate every project on an ad hoc basis but also have automated workflows in place for clients whom we serve on a daily basis. For each client, we set up long-term operating guidelines which allow us to streamline processes.

Once you have reached out to us, your dedicated sales partner will help you identify your needs and desired global process. Our Chief Technology Officer and our Chief Operating Officer will then work together with you to set up the process that works best for you, whether it is to be automated or not.

Linguistic expertise

Our linguistic expertise is central to our approach and allows us to ensure that the translations we provide have the appropriate tone of voice and accurately reflect the original document. Our Luxembourg translation office was founded by a linguist and professional translator, so we always focus on making sure your linguists are carefully vetted and continuously evaluated for quality.

Project management

We offer a customer service that is courteous, professional and efficient. Peter & Clark’s Luxembourg translation office focuses on customer service to facilitate clear and open communications with its clients. Our client relationship management team is trained in efficient process methodologies. All of our project managers are fluent in more than one language, meaning that they have a solid expertise in both linguistics and project management.

Every project begins with a thorough understanding of the client’s needs and objectives to make a project plan. The plan always allows scalability should the client’s requirements change or expand. During the lifecycle of the project, the client relationship manager oversees schedules and quality checkpoints. At the completion of the project, your client relationship manager will review and deliver it to you per your specifications and coordinate the post-project management steps with your organization and our in-house review team. This includes following up with your organization’s feedback and updating terminology glossaries and translation memories as needed. We also are diligent in providing translators and editors with the same feedback, resulting in a continuous improvement loop. Peter & Clark’s Luxembourg translation office is thus dedicated to constantly analyze and improve the work it does for you!

Quality assurance

Quality assurance involves defined processes to make sure your work is prepared accurately and consistently.
Peter & Clark’s Luxembourg translation office takes quality seriously. We follow a documented quality control approach to achieve repeatable quality on every project.

  1. Linguist recruitment and qualification-based selection
  2. Terminology and translation memory management
  3. In-house sworn translation, review and in-depth quality checks

Based on our 20+ years of experience, our quality standards are constantly monitored and improved to ensure the best service for our clients.

In addition to this, our processes are based on the requirements of the ISO17100:2015 and ISO9001:2015 European standards.

Translation Technologies

Peter & Clark seeks to leverage state-of-the-art technologies to improve efficiency and quality. This is achieved through the automation of some manual tasks. Peter & Clark uses a number of tools to increase efficiency in various areas of our work:

  • Workflow
  • Integration
  • Computer Assisted Translation
  • Terminology management
  • Multilingual DTP
  • Business technology management
  • Use of our proprietary Translation Management System (iTMS)
  • Punctual use of Machine Translation
